Overall Thoughts:

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you’d predicted?

I didn’t really set any prediction for myself this year, but my output always feels low when I’m writing under 100k.

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January?

So there’s this show called One Piece…

What’s your own favourite story of the year?

A Place in the Dark because I am who I am and Yellowjackets was created in a lab to ruin my life. 

Did you take any writing risks this year?

Writing canon always feels scary to me. I’ve had this problem forever. I’m always afraid I’m not going to get characterization right (rpf is way easier because you can convine me of anything if your story justifies it). So that was a risk but it seems to have paid off <3

Do you have any fanfic goals for the new year?

I’d like to have a little more output but no pressure.

By hits and kudos: Reflect in Me. I guess the people are really feeling JeongcheolChan. 

Story of mine most under-appreciated by the universe, in my opinion:

Taken with the Tide. Nobody likes Honggu though so…

Most fun story to write:

As long as it takes. I’m nothing if not a person who lives for vampire AUs. 

Story with the single sexiest moment:

Feel the Heat on Me, probably. Some of us were profoundly changed by watching LITA.

Most “holy crap, that’s wrong, even for you” story:

I was actually very normal this year <3

Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters:

Both of my Chan fics!! Every time I write Chan I understand him a little bit better. 

Hardest story to write:

Bite the Hand T_T 

Biggest disappointment:

I guess just overall low engagement? I posted this on twt, but it’s kind of shocking that I wrote 2 fics for anime fandom and 11 for kpop yet my hits/kudos/comments are nearly identical. 

Biggest surprise:

You too could have a profound Zoro Nami emotion.  

Most unintentionally telling story:

Perhaps Lilies. Who am I if not real true love and marriage and tenderness.
